Stefan completed his education at the University of Ottawa in philosophy and theology back in 2010 and more psychotherapy education and training at the University of Toronto (2015). He has been a registered psychotherapist since 2016, utilizing Narrative Therapy among other modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, helping clients cope, process, build resilience and empower them to move forward through major life events and grief. Currently, Stefan also works in a clinical context of a hospital where he provides support to patients, patients’ family members and ongoing staff support. Spirituality is an important aspect of Stefan’s identity as it speaks to how people make meaning and sense in the world. Stefan integrates this aspect into his care, addressing a person in a holistic way – acknowledging the body, mind and spirit. Stefan also completed a clinical supervision course allowing him to supervise aspiring and qualifying psychotherapists. Stefan loves reading books, going camping, hiking and fishing with his wife and two boys.
